All modern companies should be capable of managing the relationships with their suppliers working together on issues such as planning, bidding, commercial relations, deliveries, guarantees and after-sales.

The Horus-ERP SCM (Supply Chain Management) module is an external web server application which works as a satellite of the main Horus-ERP application and has been especially created to connect customers to suppliers on permanent basis concerning issues of common interest.

The Horus-ERP SCM application offers several functions and tools to manage all the work between a customer and its supplier whilst maintaining the full confidentiality of bids, commercial agreements, billing and payments.

The main Horus-ERP SCM tools and functions are as follows:

• SCM Sign-in / sign-up - Supplier identification engine that automatically creates and registers new users;
• Bidding - Allows task-based acquisition that can easily be accessed and read by individual suppliers;
• Bidding templates - Designed to use Document Management (DOCM) and Resources Database Management (RDB) resources templates exactly as required by the customer. A new accepted bid is automatically converted into a Horus-ERP approved document and the resources contents are saved to a Horus-ERP RDB database;
• SCM Roles - Predefined roles will provide access to the SCM server based on task, project or products. It simplifies the work of the project manager when working with several national or international suppliers at once;
• CEVDAR - Intelligent selection and evaluation tools for 'CEVDAR'-ing (Create, Edit, View, Delete, Approve, Revise) bids and offers submitted by suppliers:
