Work Flow Management
The Horus-ERP WFM (Workflow Management) module is a powerful, precise organizational and planning engine which works interactively with all the other modules of the application.
Your company is full of "Who, What, When, and How" questions, and the Work Flow Management module makes and keeps track of these connections by following a step-by-step work process diagram built on predefined logic.
How does the WFM module work?
- Draft a WF chart - First of all, your Work Flow manager makes a draft of the WFM logical process chart. We have chosen ECLIPSE as the external program used to draft the logical workflow diagrams;
- Import WF chart - Once the WF chart is completed, the chart will be imported into the Horus-ERP WorkFlow processes server;
- WF templates - You can create and save multiple WF template databases based on your own ISO or internal norms and regulations. You can then edit the workflows directly on the Horus-ERP WF server;
- Initiate a new WF - Select a WBS task to initiate a new WF workflow process ;
- Activated WF - Once the WF template has been initiated, it becomes an active workflow ready to be used within a new process;
- Define workflow nodes - Define the Who, What, When and How in each node of the WF logic diagram, adding all specific actions and conditions.
Once the entire workflow process has been initiated, the team automatically gets confirmation about the What, When and How, costs, scheduling, and conditions required to perform their own tasks according to the workflow process chart.
